My childhood friend was holding something brown when she said, "His eyes were this color, but blue". We laughed so hard, but then I thought she might be on to something. From that moment on, I decided to live MY life this color but blue - and what a life it's been so far....

30 Day Photo Challenge: Sillouette
This is a picture of a shadow on a wall of Charlotte and I holding hands. Charlotte and I have the same hands and I saw that right away when she was born. The same shape, same fingers...same hands. We have a special way we lace our fingers when we hold hands and they fit perfectly. When we are in the car and she is upset or worried...my hand finds it's way back to hers and we drive like that until she calms down. I still find myself throwing out my hand out to her when we cross the street, although, she is not a little girl anymore, she is almost 10 YEARS OLD. And she always grabs mine back...at least for now. I don't think I will ever stop wanting to hold her sweet hand.
